About Us
Clarkwood Events began with our own wedding.
Looking for entertainment that felt in keeping with our vision for the day, we decided to create our own garden games and photobooth. We designed and built everything ourselves, focusing on quality, durability and how it would actually be used on the day. In many ways, we were our own first clients.
The games and photobooth became some of the most popular parts of the day, with our guests spending hours playing, laughing and making memories. The venue team mentioned how well everything complemented the setting, even taking a few sneaky photobooth pictures themselves. After the wedding, family and friends began asking to use them for their own celebrations and what started as a personal project soon found its way into baby showers, birthday parties and other special occasions.
Today Clarkwood Events provides handcrafted garden games, photobooth hire and event extras for a variety of occasions across Cambridge and beyond, and every piece we offer is designed with the same attention to detail that inspired our very first event.
